Part Time Marketing Assistant – Social Media & Partnerships

Adventure Snacks is a fast-growing e-commerce store specializing in kids’ lunchboxes and family mealtime products.  We are currently looking for an experienced, enthusiastic marketing assistant to help take our social media and content to the next level.  We are a small team who value collaboration, excellence, and family, and this role gives you the opportunity to do what you love in a flexible workplace.  This position is an integral part of the team, so a passion for your job and what we do is a must!

 

The successful candidate will work closely with the Founder to implement a range of marketing activities.  The role will include:

  • Creating engaging content for social media channels, with a focus on video content such as Reels and TikTok videos
  • Creating content for paid advertising – helping us to stand out with creative ideas
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of our social media channels including posting, scheduling, and community management
  • Overseeing and growing our affiliate program
  • Finding and liaising with strategic partners or influencers for activations such as giveaways or cross-promotion
  • Identifying, engaging, and managing relationships with influencers, UGC content creators, and brand ambassadors
  • Reviewing and reporting on analytics
  • Working with the Marketing team on campaigns and promotions
  • Staying up to date with social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices.
  • Other admin as required

 

To be successful in the role, you will be a highly motivated go-getter that is obsessed with social media, and can innovate and problem-solve.  

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role (highly regarded)
  • A strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook & TikTok) and content creation
  • The ability to come up with fresh ideas, then create and edit the video content
  • Experience in managing multiple social media platforms
  • Creative thinking with the ability to come up with innovative ideas
  • Ability to work within strict deadlines while managing multiple priorities
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

The role will be approximately 20 hours a week and may increase over the busy pre-Christmas and back to school periods (October-February) so flexibility with hours is required.  Some work may be completed remotely but the role will predominantly be based out of our office and warehouse in Wangara.
