Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken Recipe

This slow cooker chicken is so easy to make - everything just goes into the slow cooker without any special prep.

It's fall-apart tender, juicy and delicious. We love turning this recipe into three different meals to eat throughout the week. We normally make nachos night one, sliders night two (mini brioche buns are the best!) and then delicious BBQ chicken pizzas night three.

slow cooked pulled chicken

Ingredients

  • Roughly 800g-1kg Chicken Breast
  • 1 1/2 cups BBQ Sauce (we used Sweet Baby Rays)
  • 1/2 medium onion, grated (with juice)
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • Tbsp Brown Sugar

Instructions

  • Stir together all sauce ingredients in your slow cooker.
  • Add chicken and turn to coat. Cover and cook on high 3 to 4 hours or on low for 6-7 hours. Chicken is done when cooked through and easy to shred.
  • Remove chicken to a cutting board and shred each breast using two forks. Place shredded chicken back in the slow cooker and stir to coat with the yummy sauce.

So there you have it, three delicious meals from one amazing recipe. Whether you're in the mood for nachos, sliders, or pizza, this versatile dish has got you covered. Get ready to impress your taste buds and make your weeknight dinners a whole lot more exciting!
